Born in Arlington, TX,eddiebingo is a survivor of the default ideals of Christianity and law. The combination of a father who was either working or drinking and a hyper-vigilant, church-a-holic mother, led eddiebingo to the rebellious refuge of early hip-hop and punk music. He spent his high school years with his skateboard and tape cassettes until his free lifestyle landed him in hot water with the law.
After being made to join the military, eddiebingo found himself in Japan, where he learned both the Japanese language and the intricacies of hip-hop. His time in the Navy did nothing to squash his defiant nature. He spent his time drinking, jacking car stereos, and flagging down Japanese cuties. After 5 years, and a dead marriage to a Japan native, eddiebingo's time overseas had eventually run its course and he was deported.
Now back in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, eddiebingo drops his brand of hip-hop with the likes of Racine Cipher and Lazarus Zillah in Tha High Knowledge Crew and as a solo recording artist. He has come a long way in refining himself as an artist and person, but has lost none of the defiant philosophy and love of different cultures that drives his music and defines his life.
